Terms & Conditions — Balloons by Alexandra

Welcome to Balloons by Alexandra (the “Provider”). By visiting our website, requesting a quote, or booking services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms summarize and support our detailed Service Agreement provided to clients upon booking. For specific event bookings, the signed Service Agreement will always take precedence.

1. Quotes & Booking

  • All quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Dates are secured only when a non-refundable retainer has been paid.

  • The remaining balance is due one week before the event or upon arrival for service, as stated in the service agreement.

  • Payments may be made via cash, check, or credit card (fees may apply).

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the event result in full forfeiture of the retainer.

  • Rescheduling requests must be made in writing and are subject to availability.

  • Once the final payment is made, no refunds will be issued.

3. Delivery, Setup & Pickup

  • Provider will install décor at the agreed-upon time. Delays caused by venue access, weather, or unforeseen circumstances may affect completion.

  • If pickup and dismantle are included, we will return at the scheduled time to remove décor.

  • If pickup is NOT included, the client is responsible for disposing of all balloons and materials after the event.

  • Certain venues (corporate buildings, schools, rentals) may require professional pickup; in these cases it is strongly recommended.

4. Outdoor Installations

Balloons are sensitive to heat, sun, wind, and humidity. The Provider cannot guarantee longevity for outdoor installations.
No refunds are issued for damage caused by weather conditions.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate event details.

  • Ensure safe, timely access to the venue.

  • Not move, adjust, or interfere with installed décor. Movement may cause collapse or damage.

  • Follow all balloon safety guidelines, especially around children.

6. Safety & Liability

  • Provider is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or allergic reactions related to latex or helium.

  • Provider is not liable for damage resulting from Client or guest handling, venue restrictions, or environmental conditions.

7. Exclusivity

To preserve design integrity, no other balloon vendor may install balloon décor for the same event unless written approval is provided.
Violation may result in termination of service without refund.

8. Photography & Media

Provider may photograph or film completed installations for marketing purposes unless the Client submits a written request not to.

9. Bounce House Rentals (If Applicable)

For events involving white bounce house rentals:

  • A signed bounce house agreement is required.

  • Adult supervision must be present at all times.

  • No shoes, food, drinks, sharp objects, confetti, paint, glitter, gum, or glow sticks are allowed in or near the unit.

  • Weather-related restrictions (wind, rain) may require cancellation for safety.

10. Limitation of Liability

Once décor is installed and accepted, the Provider is not responsible for:

  • Balloon oxidation, popping, shrinkage

  • Damage caused by guests, children, staff, or venue

  • Environmental conditions causing deterioration
